US Support for Ukraine will Continue
Recently, for the first time during the war, the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin visited Ukraine. One visit, and many victories for Ukraine.
Support for Ukraine by the United States, which has reached $ 3.4 billion since the beginning of the invasion, will continue. The President of the United States announced additional assistance to Ukraine and Eastern Europe in the amount of 713 million dollars.
Our President conveyed to the US side the Action Plan to strengthen the sanctions against Russia, which was developed by Yermak-McFaul international expert group . The implementation of this plan will remove the inconsistencies and “loopholes” in the sanctions policy and make the economic cost of the war truly unbearable for Russia .
But the most important is the unconditional faith of the allies in Ukraine and its victory.
“We do not know how the rest of this war will unfold, but we know that a sovereign independent Ukraine will last much longer than Vladimir Putin is on the scene. And our support for Ukraine will continue in the future. It will continue until we see ultimate success, “said the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“We believe that Ukraine will win if it has the appropriate equipment, weapons and proper support. For our part, we are doing and will continue to do everything in our power to support Ukraine, “the US Secretary of Defense added.
What does this mean? We managed to reach out to the allies and convince them of our victory. We achieved this together: our President, the Ukrainian diplomacy, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and all citizens of Ukraine who gave a real rebuff to Putin’s Russia. Our courage overcame the stereotypes, doubts and fears of our allies, partners and friends: both about Ukraine and about Russia. Today, they do not just believe in our victory – they are ready to do everything possible to help make this victory happen as soon as possible. Ukraine is grateful for this faith and this support. We are waiting for concrete actions and steps to expand assistance.
