The government is strengthening cybersecurity in accordance with the European standards

On October 9, the Cabinet approved orders on critical infrastructure facilities and strengthening cybersecurity in Ukraine.  The changes will help conduct an information security audit of the critical infrastructure facilities, such as strategically important state enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of ownership. The regulations will also allow to assess the level of potential danger for each object.

Cybersecurity will be provided according to potential threats. In addition, the government plans to create the State Registry of the critical communications infrastructure and entrust its operation to Derzhspetszvyazok. A single system for recording and storing the critical infrastructure data will be also defined.
