Servant of the People’s party-building is reaching the international level
Political integration is an integral part of European integration and rapprochement with the European Union. That is why the Servant of the People party-building reaches a new level – international.
The party strengthened coordination and cooperation with the liberal family by implementing the decision taken at the party congress last Monday.
To this end, Olga Stefanishyna, a member of the Political Council of the party, held a number of productive meetings in Brussels at the highest party level of the ALDE Group, including the leadership of the European Parliament and Commissioners. This will open the road towards the rapprochement of the Servant of the People party with the European political family.
At present, the party’s task is to play an essential role in European political life and to take a proactive position to advocate for Ukraine’s interests, to cooperate at the interparty level with other European parties, and to work together to defend democracy, human rights and the rule of law.
Notably, ALDE consistently and resolutely defends the interests of Ukraine, our territorial integrity and the aspiration to become a part of the EU in the future. In addition, the desire to reform European institutions and approaches to policy-making, including the EU enlargement, is in line with our goals and vision.
Today, the ALDE family includes 72 European parties, including 6 Prime Ministers and as many Members of the European Commission, a faction in the European Parliament with 69 Members.
