I am Yevheniia Kravchuk, a Member of the Parliament of Ukraine from the Servant of the People Party, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s political force, and I am running for re-election as Vice-President of the ALDE Party.
I have served as ALDE Party Vice-President since October 2024. Building on the results achieved during my first term, I am seeking a renewed mandate to continue advancing our shared priorities, deepen cooperation among ALDE member parties and strengthen the liberal family across Europe.
I have been a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament since 2019. I currently serve as Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, Deputy Chair of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, Co-Chair of the Contact Group between the Servant of the People Party and the Renew Europe Group in the European Parliament, and a member of Ukraine’s Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. My work focuses on European security, media freedom, democratic resilience, countering disinformation and foreign interference, cultural heritage, equality and the participation of women and young people in political and public life.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, I have actively advocated internationally for Ukraine’s interests, stronger European support, accountability for Russian crimes and Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. Ukraine’s experience in defending democracy, developing defence technologies and confronting hybrid threats is not only important for my country — it is a strategic asset for the whole of Europe.
Within PACE, I chaired the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media in 2023. I subsequently chaired the Sub-Committee on Youth and the Society of the Future and became the Committee’s Youth Rapporteur in 2025. In January 2026, I was elected Chair of the PACE Sub-Committee on Media and Information Society.
I have authored several PACE resolutions addressing women’s security, the protection of cultural identity, Ukrainian journalists held in Russian captivity, youth movements for democracy and the elimination of gender stereotypes in the media. In Ukraine, I co-authored the Law on Media and contributed to the media reform required for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. Since December 2025, I have chaired the Parliamentary Temporary Investigation Commission investigating crimes committed by Russia against journalists and other media workers.
As a Ukrainian, a liberal and a European, I strongly believe that freedom must not only be defended — it must fight back. A stronger partnership with Ukraine means a stronger, safer and more resilient Europe.A larger and more united European Union will strengthen our democracies, our economies and our collective ability to respond to common challenges.
If re-elected as ALDE Party Vice-President, my key priorities will be:
